Judith “Judy” was born April 6, 1947, in Louisville, KY to John and Anita Riley. Entered eternal life October 18, 2023, with her sister Kathy and beloved caregiver Chanel by her side.

Judy was developmentally challenged  and resided at Bethesda Lutheran Home in Watertown, WI from January 1959 until 2015. Judy lived her final years in Racine under the loving care of A Naturally Nurtured Place. Judy had special connections with her caregivers through the years. The last being Chanel Nelson. Judy led a spiritual life, knew Jesus, and loved old hymns. She enjoyed car rides and loved being in a pool.

Judy is survived by her sister, Kathleen (Paul) Kaprelian, Nephews John (Julie) Kaprelian, Claire and Kyle, Adam (Stacey) Kaprelian, Anna, and Emily; and Niece, Molly (AJ) Neils. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Brother John “Skippy” Riley. Several loving Aunts and Uncles and Cousins.

A special thank you to Compassus for your attentive care. To Chanel Nelson, for your compassionate care of Judy and truly “seeing” her. You are a gem.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to North Cape Lutheran Church, or Alzheimer’s Association. A private burial will take place at West Lawn Cemetery in Racine where she will join her parents and brother.
