In Loving Memory of
Judith Ann Sauceda (nee Marx)
With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Judith Ann Sauceda (Judy) at the age of 85 on April 16, 2025. She was the widow of Samuel P. Sauceda.
Judy was the embodiment of selfless love, a woman whose strength was quiet but unwavering, and whose impact on the lives around her cannot be measured. As the devoted mother of four, she poured every ounce of herself into raising her children with grace, wisdom, and boundless compassion. She ran her household with tireless devotion, balancing endless responsibilities with humility and care, never once asking for recognition.
To her children, she was their first example of what it means to love unconditionally. She did not just teach them how to be kind; she lived a life of kindness. She did not just speak of sacrifice; she gave of herself in every way, every day, and taught those around her the true meaning of compassion.
She will be remembered for her gentle strength and generous heart, her love for gardening, hummingbirds, sewing, and all things DIY. Judy loved music, singing, and had a flair for drawing. She was centered in her Catholic faith and grounded by family.
Judy was preceded in death by her mother and father, Sophie and Joseph Marx, her husband Sam, after 55 years of marriage, her beloved sister Lorraine Marx, and her granddaughter Amber Kurth.
She is survived by her sister, Marion Greuel, her brother, James Marx, and her children: David (Bonnie) Sauceda, James (Lori) Sauceda, Laura Sauceda Koziol, and Jean Sauceda. She is further survived by her cherished grandchildren: Malia Sauceda, Samuel Koziol, Jeimmy (Jackie) Wu, Alexander Koziol, Camilo Sauceda, Joseph Cavaluzzi, Gabriella Koziol, Daren (Kelsy) Dodd, and Holly (Dustin) Cole. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Though the world feels a little dimmer in her absence, her light continues to shine through the lives she touched, especially her children and grandchildren. May she rest in peace.

I will always remember our time together
over the years. Sometimes a moving project,
sometimes a chat about life. Our 2nd hand shopping trips were one of my favorite memories. You live in my heart and now in heaven too. I have been blessed to have you in my life..
