Juan Nieves

Born on March 1, 1930 in Puerto Rico, Juan was one of four children born to Gregorio and Ogenia Seqinuot Nieves. His siblings included brother Tomas and sisters Juana and Carla.

Juan worked as a laborer at the Johnson Cookie Company in Milwaukee. He met and married Herminia. They had 3 children, John, Gladys and Margaritta.

Juan passed away peacefully at home on July 3, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife Herminia and daughters Gladys Nieves Pedrosa and Margaritta Nieves. Juan is survived by his brother Tomas Nieves, sisters Juana Nieves and Carla Rodriguez, his son John (Lily) Nieves, grandchildren Ivelisse Pedroza (Fonseca), Lissette Cordero-Outen, Tara Lawson-Stand, Jessica Pedroza, Cynthia Seda (Pedroza), Antonio Nieves, Michael R. Zindt, Sarita Evette Nieves and Michael Joel Nieves. Juan is further survived by 12 great-granchildren, many cousins and friends.

Visitation Tuesday July 7 at St. Francis Assisi Church from 3:00 P.M. to the time of Funeral Mass at 4:00 P.M.
