Joyce Mardelle
Guetlich

Guetlich, Joyce M. (nee Brugman)
Went home to heaven on Tuesday February 14th, 2017, aged 91 years. Dedicated wife of the late Elroy Guetlich. Loving mother of Linda (Jerry) Loeffel, the late Sharon (Jim) Hanrahan, and Kathy (Ron) Tanko. Proud grandmother of Wendy (Dave) Close, Mike (Brenda) Loeffel, Chris and Ben Tanko. Devoted great grandmother of Olivia, Nathan, and Emma Close, William and Samuel Loeffel. Beloved sister of Doyle (Carol) Brugman, Janice (Stan) Smith and the late Hersh (late Shirley) Brugman. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation Friday, February 17th, at Nain Ev. Lutheran Church, 1665 S. 57th St., from 12-2 PM, followed by the Funeral Service at 2PM. Interment at Highland Memorial Park.
Joyce was a long time member of Nain where she served on the Altar Guild, Lydia Guild and sang in the choir. She also enjoyed her many years working in the admitting department at West Allis Memorial Hospital.
She loved completing the daily crossword puzzle, playing cards with her friends at Library Square, watching Brewer games, knitting, and spending as much time as possible with her family. In the last months we continued to be amazed by her strength and courage in adapting to her many physical challenges. Joyce will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a wonderful example of faith and resiliency. All who knew her were blessed.
If so desired, memorials to Nain Lutheran Church or Wisconsin Lutheran College appreciated.
