Steve and I are so sorry to hear of Joyce’s death. Blessings to all of you who are mourning her death and I hope the memories you have will bring a smile to your eyes.
Tina’s oldest son asked “Who’s Mrs. Krueger”. The answer, “Easters were awesome because of her. She could really hit that high note.” and Leah added “Awe, she could harmonize”. For me it was her smile.

Another one of the “gang” has made it to the other side. I remember at my dad’s funeral (2008) your dad, who was still living at the time,, said that my dad always beat him at everything and now he had beaten him to heaven. Well, now your mom has beaten my mom to heaven, so maybe that now evens the score. In any case, the majority of the gang is now no longer here but over there. I know your dad is happy to be reunited with your mom. I’ve got to believe that the gang in heaven is looking forward to the day when the entire gang can reunite and enjoy the life that really is life, the life that never ends.

I was just told about Joyce’s entrance into heaven. Although I knew it was imminent, I always enjoyed our phone conversations, with Joyce proudly telling me about her grandchildren’s activities. There was no doubr she was ready to meet her Lord, but she also appreciated every day she had. During my teenagae years, and after, she was the older sister I never had. They trusted me to take care of you children – and invited me along to Shawano, partially as a reward and partially so they could go out in the evening for ice cream. She and Pastor came to my high school graduation in New Ulm. Many is the visit I had with them both and they have always been part of my favorite memories. Their picture still hangs on my bulleting board (in fact, I’ve attached it.) How happy I am that they are now together. But, still, it’s hard to lose a mom. She’s the person who has known you the longest. Our Lord is not only holding your mom at this time, he will also tenderly hold you, lovingly comfort you and faithfully walk with you every step of the day. God’s Blessings to you all.
