We will deeply miss our neighbor, Joseph. He always had a kind word for everyone and he was so generous. He made our neighborhood sparkle.

I always had a great time at the Gentry on Sunday nights with Becky playing the piano and so many of us amateurs singing our hearts out. Joseph and Paul both belted out their sons with such passion that it was always inspiring to watch them perform. No Joseph will be belting the songs he owned out in the heavens above to everyone’s joy and amazement. God bless.

Paul, love is eternal. It is more than a physical connection. It is a spiritual union that transcends the boundaries of the physical. It’s that soft breeze in the summer, warmth of the sun in the winter, the sound of your loved one’s voice. Peace be still and know.

Paul, I am so sorry for your loss. Sending prayers for peace for you, your family and for Joseph’s family. The depth of love and commitment you always showed for each other and the total joy and abandon Joseph always gave when he sang is what I will remember most about him. May the angels lead him to Paradise…

Joey is my step brother and from the first time I saw him he showed a kindness of heart that I have never experienced again. He is a gentle soul with a light all his own. Last night I dreamt of him and woke up with music in my head and heart. He is an amazing person. He is more alive now than he ever was here on earth. It was my great pleasure to have grown up with Joey.

I met Joseph and Paul at open mic several times. Joseph was a very sweet, dear man and clearly he and Paul had a special bond. My prayers to your family and may there be much music to great you, Joseph.

I knew Joseph when we where both members of the Milwaukee Chapter of Dignity in the late 80’s. He was a very kind person, and was always interested in hearing what was going on in everyone’s lives. He was a very good listener, and was always genuinely interested in what everyone was sharing with him. I also remember he loved to sing and graced us with many a tune at house parties. The last time I saw him was in 1995 when I left Milwaukee, but I recognized his photo and name immediately when I saw it in the obituary online. He was one in a million for sure.
