Joseph John Kasel III, 53, of West Allis, WI was called home to the Lord on June 25th, 2022. He was born on July 13th, 1968 to Joseph Kasel II and Dorothy (nee Gruhn) Kasel. He graduated from Greenfield High School. His passions were his Christian faith, family, friends, music, and model rocketry. He was a member of the Wisconsin Organization of Space-modeling Hobbyists (WOOSH).

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Karl Lubke; and sister, Heidi Hendrickson. He is survived by his nieces Gretchen (Ian) Hartsook of Manhattan, KS and Hannah Hendrickson of San Antonio, TX; two great-nephews, August and Theodore Hartsook; other distant relatives, and many friends and caregivers.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 29th, 2022 at 9:30AM at the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel (6615 W. Oklahoma Ave.) with memorial service at 10AM. Following will be a gravesite committal service at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.

If so desired, memorials to the National Alliance on Mental Illness are appreciated.

    Love you Joey, happy birthday dear friend. I loved to listen to him talk about his rockets and when he shot one off when I was up visiting him with his sister.

    Joe you will always and forever be missed! I enjoyed your company and the good times we shared! I always called you A big teddy bear and you would call me a lil bear! Lol. I miss your laugh and I surely do miss coming working with you and seeing your smile!
