Saturday, September 8, 2007, age 49 years. Loving father of Jenny, Samantha and Lauren Chapa. Grandfather of Nicole. Son of Victor Sr. and the Late Frances Chapa. Brother of Victor Jr., Adeline James Croeker, Mary Ann Curt Harper, Ralph Susan Chapa, Diane Del Wilson and Paul Carol Chapa. Godfather of Kaitlyn Croeker. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service Wednesday, September 12, at 11:00 AM at FAIRVIEW EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 137 N. 66th St. Visitation at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service 11:00 AM.
Joe was a long time member and Past President of Southwest Kiwanis Club of Milwaukee.

I knew Joey Chapa from our first days at St Matthews all the way through graduation from OCHS. Joey will always be remembered for his torrid love affair with Sherry White – they were inseparable in the halls of Oak Creek High.
One of my favorite memories of Joey is the time he plugged up the toilet at St Matthews. Sister Monica Marie was furious as the mess spilled out into the hallway!
Joey always had a smile. He will be missed.
