Past Comments

I regret that I procrastinated sending this to Mr. Joseph Payovich last year when I came across his letter from May 21, 1995.
I was a student of Mr. Payovich at MATC in 1995. It was a literature class. It was a tough class and I didn’t think I was going to make it through the semester – many didn’t! He could have canceled the class with only two students remaining but he didn’t!
He was my inspiration to continue my education – he saw it in me. I earned my BA in Community Development and Leadership at Alverno College. I silently thanked him on graduation day.
I still have the book I read and had to do a book report on – Angel of the Battle Field. It is one of my favorite books and recommend it.
Mr. Payovich, yes, I did find my niche and have a successful career. Thank you for your well wished and for being an inspiration to me and I’m sure, many, many others.
Heaven has received another angel. You will always be remembered.

Joe was one of the few people who REALLY understood me! I thank him for his talks with me and putting up with me as a little kid when I would visit!!
