Johnny came out of turn four and took his final checkered flag on Saturday January 18, 2020 at the age of 85 yrs. Beloved husband of Fern (nee Poeschel). Dear father of John (Quaitie), Jill (Gary) Thibodeau, and Joe (Denise) Reimer. Loving grandfather of Lauren, John, Jake (Megan), Jamie, Tess, Claire, and Laura. Proud great grandfather of Hurley, Rymer, and Fitz. Brother of Joel (Karen) Reimer and the late Eleanor Both. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday February 1, 2020, at the FUNERAL HOME, from 1 pm to the time of Memorial Service at 4 pm

    John was a fine example both on and off the track for all of us who followed. I have long admired him in many ways.

    John was an inspiration and a blessing to generations. We as kids were big fans going back to Wilmot & Lake Geneva. I’ll always remember the mixed race at Capital watching Johnny compete with Dick Trickle.

    May God continue to bless the Reimer family.
