John James Miller II

1944  –  2025

 

John J. Miller II of Menomonee Falls received his heavenly reward on March 15, 2025. He was born on August 30, 1944 to the late John J. Miller and Helen Thompson (nee Narr; formerly Miller).  He attended Menomonee Falls High School and was a 1972 graduate of Spencerian College of Business.  John served in the U.S. Army in the Alaska and Philadelphia Air Defense in the 1960s and later served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. After his retirement from the U.S. Postal Service, he joined Civil Air Patrol where he was assigned as an administrative officer and attained the rank of major.  He was an avid student of military history and Bible prophesy. John loved the Lord and was a dedicated servant at the Northview United Pentecostal Church for several decades.  He served as a church officer, taught home bible studies and was involved in music ministry.

John was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Sandra M. Miller; and his stepfather, Kermit S. Thompson.  He is survived by his aunt, Eileen Narr, as well as cousins, friends and his beloved church family.

A memorial service to honor John’s life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11 AM, with a visitation beginning at 10 AM. The service will take place at Full Gospel Church, 2830 South River Road, West Bend, Wisconsin 53095
