On Saturday, July 5, 2025, Jack was reunited with his beloved wife, Lynn at the age of 84 years. Loving father of Michael (Beth) Repka, John (Donna) Repka, Joseph Repka, Steven (Bonnie) Repka, and Timothy (Wendy) Repka. Proud grandpa of Amanda (Dustin) Zahn, Matthew Repka, Mark Repka, Katherine (Sean) Murphy, Emma Repka, Rachel Repka, Carli Repka, John “JJ” Repka, Tyler Repka and Travis Repka. Great grandpa of Raelynn Zahn, Ayda Murphy, and Sadie Murphy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Jack was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 6, 1940, son of the late John L. and Eva D. (Papineau) Repka. He attended Boy’s Tech High School and graduated in 1959. After graduation Jack remained in Milwaukee, joined the Army reserves, and worked a variety of jobs before eventually settling at Sears where he remained for over 27 years.
Jack and Lynn were married on April 27th, 1963, and remained in the Milwaukee area where they raised their five sons. Jack retired in 2002, and they moved to Taylor, WI.
Jack loved to play cribbage and sheepshead, listen to country music, camp, hunt, hike (especially in the Upper Peninsula during the fall colors) and was a huge Packer fan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 10-11:15 am at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 8500 W. Cold Spring Road, Greenfield, WI 53228 with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. Interment at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. We will meet at the main entrance at 1:00 pm.
