John H. Kaufman

Unexpectedly passed into Eternal Life December 3, 2018 at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Denise (Gutknecht) Kaufman. Proud stepdad of Karie (Tanner) Sabin, Nikki (Jason) Waldeck, Ryan (Michelle) Gutknecht. Cherished grandpa of P.J., Michelle, Kyle, Peyton and Kylie. Loving brother of Giacomo “Jack”, Thomas (Erika), Cece (Gary) Woodward, Joanne (Dan) Larsen. Uncle of Giacomo J., Nicolas (Patrick), Christine (Jesse) McDowell and boys. Also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering will begin at 3pm Tuesday, December 11, 2018 until time of service at 4pm at ST. JOHN’S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH (6700 S Howell Ave, Oak Creek). A light meal will follow.

John was a proud truck driver and had a passion for building John Deere combine models from scratch. His life really seemed to begin when he met his wife Denise. The two of them spent time exploring their hobbies and interests like riding motorcycles (he was so proud of his yellow Harley!) and traveling, but he got the most joy just from making her happy. The time they spent together may have been short, but the love they shared will last forever. John did many incredibly kind deeds not for recognition, but simply to bring happiness to the world. He will be deeply missed.
