Born to Eternal Life March 18, 2021 at the age of 89.  Loving wife of Marvin and the late Fredrick.  Dear mother of Jim (Susan) Burns, Mary Beth (Michael) Brever, Tim (Mary) Burns, and Tom (Susan) Burns.  Step-mother of Kathy (Rich) Chioni and Susan Weber.  Proud grandmother of Katherine (husband Joseph Pfister) Burns, Amanda (Anthony) Hasse, Megan (Tim) Schelwat, Tim (Nicole) Brever, Patrick Brever, Dan Brever, Hannah Burns, Olivia (fiancé Alex Lentz) Burns, and Michael Burns.  Cherished great-grandmother of Evelyn Hasse and Nathanael Brever.  Also survived by other relatives and friends.

 

Joe Ann was a graduate of Washington High School, attended Carroll College, and was a graduate of Marquette University. She was a long-time member the South Milwaukee Woman’s Club and the Greendale Woman’s Club.  She volunteered for many organizations including the Pabst Mansion and the Ronald McDonald House.  Joe Ann was a world traveler, who enjoyed visiting other countries and learning about other cultures.  Life-long knitter who was known for her one-of-a-kind designed sweaters.

 

Private Services will be held.

 

Memorials are appreciated to the Ronald McDonald House or the Wisconsin Parkinson Association.

    Our hearts and prayers go out to Joe Ann and her family who were all close to our family for so many years as neighbors and together in school, church and club activities.
