    Hello Carolyn.
I loved Jean and she loved me. She watched over me through my nursing career as a mother would and her care, love, constant friendship, flawless wisdom and practical counsel carried me through my academic years and beyond. She believed in me when I could not. We shared academic but also social hours together as she welcomed into that part of her life too. In some ways, we were soul mates. I have missed her all these years and she was lost to me until this sad news. I carry her with me in so many ways. May your heart be soothed knowing that she was … is greatly loved and admired forever.
    Nancy (Hutton) Turner
