Janice Lundell

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6700 S. Howell Ave., Oak Creek, from 1PM-3PM.  A Funeral Service will follow at 3PM.

(Nee Abendschein) Born to Eternal Life March 4, 2024 at the age of 86 years.  Beloved wife of the late Ronald Lundell.  Loving mother of Ronnie(Joan) Lundell and Mark(Terri) Lundell.

Beloved grandmother of Brad(Heather), Ben, Terence, Joni, Lataska(Fred), and Janetra(Andron).  Proud great-grandmother of Landon, Evelyn, Bryandrea, Chris, Anthony, Summer, Lauren, Savannah, Terence Jr., Ashton, Mia, Terion, and Ariana.

Dear sister of George(Alice) Abendschein.  Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Janice worked at Melody Cookies in Oak Creek for 30+ years and was a member of the Oak Creek Lionettes.

Janice was the sweetest person who always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say.  She enjoyed reading, cross stich, puzzle books, but most of all spending time with her family and friends which made her the happiest.  In addition, she had a very refined food palate including the likes of hot dogs, popcorn, crunchy Cheetos and restaurants such as Taco Bell, Arby’s and McDonald’s – you present her with a gift card from any of these restaurants and you were a friend!  More than anything, she will be remembered for being so very kind and always smiling!
