This comment is years late, and I apologize for that. Jan was a beautiful lady who walked with Jesus in her heart. Everything she did was from the love of God through her to the recipient she was with. I miss her. I let a beautiful friend slip by with years of being busy. Life gets away from you sometimes. But those are my regrets here and now and they are temporary as I know I will walk with my friend in Heaven one day. I have more than regrets though. I have cherished memories of a friend that held my hand and heart as I walked a most difficult time in my life. Jan was a person who always had an ear to listen, a heart of compassion, and a smile filled with so much warmth it melted away the bitterness and anger I had. God used Jan for many others I’m sure, but for me she was an amazing gift of Jesus love here on earth. Her smile and laughter and always positive attitude drew you in to her joy and love for Jesus that you just wanted to share your time with her. She was a blessing. Literally. Anyone whom met Jan and spent a moment with her would know there was a love in her heart that surpassed the love we see in this world. Jesus shone from her and she shared his message of hope so genuinely in words, but even more so in her life. I love you Jan…you were the greatest friend I’ve ever had.
