Nee GrabowskiNovember 15, 2010 at age 92. Jane was born in Milwaukee on December 19, 1917, and educated in Milwaukee, attending local schools and graduating from St. Vincent de Paul School 1931. She spent her early life in Milwaukee, and enjoyed her friends, going to Mass and many church-related activities. In the early 50’s, she proudly sang in the St. Mary Magdalene Church choir.

Jane was united in marriage to Edward Archacki, June 1939, and two children were born to them. Judith Archacki was born in January 1941, and Robert Archacki was born in September 1946.In 1955, the family moved to Caledonia, WI where they lived for almost forty years.

Jane enjoyed fishing with her husband, dancing and singing. She enjoyed many outdoor activities, plus cooking, baking and canning. She made wonderful kielbasa, and many splendid baked goods for her family. In the 1990’s, she moved to be with her daughter Judy and son-in-law Ken Ihasz in Michigan. In Spring 2000, she returned to Wisconsin and enjoyed life at Juniper Court in St. Francis, near Lake Michigan. She played Scrabble and Bingo, worked puzzles, and socialized with friends and family. She enjoyed watching the Milwaukee Brewers and proudly accompanied her son, Robert, to a few games at Miller Park.

Jane was devoted to her church, to God and to her beloved family. She will long be remembered as a selfless, loving mother and wife, and will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Jane is survived by her son Robert, along with her granddaughter SueJohn Zilke of Stevensville, Michigan, son-in-law Kenneth Ihasz, great-grandchildren Amanda, Joshua and Emily Zilke of Michigan, sister-in-law Helen Stawski and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Eugene and Sigmund, her husband Edward, her daughter Judy and granddaughter Allison Elsmo Archacki.

The family will greet friends and relatives on Sat. from 1-3PM at the Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 3PM. Private inurnment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
