James Wayne Schroeder

Courageous Jim lost his 4 month battle with cancer and set-off on his new journey Thurs., March 14, 2013, at home with Patrick Farrell, his life companion of 40 years, at his side. Preceded in death by 2 brothers, Raymond and William. Jim is survived by his “family of special friends,” relatives and many other friends. Jim was a brilliant chemist employed for 35 years at Findley Adhesives (now Bostik, Inc.). Jim was also a very talented photographer who documented Farrell’s entire fine arts career. A special thank you to Dr. Craig Siverhus and the staff’s at Columbia St. Mary’s, Milwaukee Catholic Home Rehab, Horizon Home Care & Hospice. It was Jim’s wishes not to have a traditional funeral service. There will be a celebration of Jim’s life to be held in the future.
