Passed away peacefully on Monday May 18, 2015 at the age of 91 years. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Joyce M. (NEE Herrl) and two sons Mark and David. Loving father of Paul (Mary), Barbara, Timothy (Anne), Judith, Mary Beth (James) Homan and John. Dear grandfather of David (Kristin) Homan, Christopher (Caroline) Homan, Dustin Homan, Jordan Ybarra, Lynanne Satorius. Soon to be great grandfather of one. Also survived by sister in law Clara Satorius and other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday May 22nd at Prince of Peace Church 1126 S 25th St. at 12 pm. A visitation will be held at the Church from 10am-12pm. Entombment will be held Sat. at St. Adalbert Cemetery at 10AM (Please meet at Cemetery). James was an employee of Falk Corporation for 43 years, working on projects such as roof components for the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C., the top pylons for the Verrazano Bridge off Long Island, the Answan Dam in Egypt, and other various projects around the world. James was a member and past Post Commander of the Alonzo Cudworth Post # 23. Most of his retirement years were spent in volunteer work at the Alzheimer’s Association and Prince of Peace Catholic Church. The family would like to thank Dr. McClain, nurse Elizabeth, Seasons Hospice and the staff at Linden Grove for their wonderful care. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
