James “Jim” A. Marks

Passed away peacefully with his wife of 56 years by his side on July 15th, 2025 at the age of 76. Devoted husband to Darlene (nee Stahl). Cherished dad of Kimberly (Todd Evans) and Kristin (John Rode). Devoted grandpa of Tyler James, Olivia Ann, Charlene Rose and Alexandra Jo. Dear brother to Richard (Cindy) Marks and Lori Bates.

Preceded in death by his parents Alvin “Whitey” and Carolyn.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th, from 10am-12pm at Heritage Funeral Homes (9200 S. 27th. Oak Creek). A Celebration of life and sharing of stories will start at 12pm. Interment will take place at Arlington Park Cemetery – Milwaukee.

Jim was a proud and very active member of many different groups, including: AWSC Director of Milwaukee County, Previous Chairman of Wind Lake Management Association, President of the Oak Creek Snowmobile Club, President of the Franklin Snowmobile Club, Membership Lead for Safari Club as well as a first responder and union steward at Allen-Bradley/Rockwell.

    He always had great stories during the holidays. I will never forget when I was home on leave for deer hunting an he lent me his rifle. It was the best deer hunting season. Another great one was when he caught the giant snapper an thought me how to handle it an demud it. You will be missed very much
