Sat. Oct. 25, 2003 at age 74. Loving husband and best friend of Katie for 50 years. Devoted father of Kevin Susan O’Brien, Dan O’Brien, Laurie Mark Repp and Jim Christine O’Brien. Fond grandpa of Brendan O’Brien, Owen, Katie and Rachel Repp and Taryn O’Brien. Brother of William Vera O’Brien, Rosaleen Fitzpatrick, Tom O’Brien, Eamon Nora O’Brien, the late Frank O’Brien, the late Colum Mary O’Brien and the late Lily Gerard Eyre. Preceded in death by a son James Michael O’Brien and a grandson David James O’Brien. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Thursday from 4-7 PM at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services at 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment Friday at 11:00 AM at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Highway A in Elkorn, WI. Retired physics teacher at West Allis Central High School. Jim served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

I wish to express my sincere condolences and share in your loss of James. I have fond memories of attending his Physics classes while attending W.A. Central prior to my graduation in 1975. Taking his class provided me with the educational foundation and thirst for knowledge that I needed for my college and professional years. His wit, knowledge and teaching style created a learning atmosphere that I hope my children are able to experience during their school years. May all schools have such a wonderful teacher!

I am shocked and saddened to hear that Uncle Seamus died suddenly last weekend.I know that you will all miss him very much.

I remember fondly the good chat I had with him when we were in England a couple of years ago.
