Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Age 76 years. Beloved husband of Linda M. Core (nee Ruszewski). Cherished father of Tammy Core, Jeffrey Core, David Core and Aimee Utley. Loving grandfather of McKenna Core and Drew Utley. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Heritage Funeral Home 9200 S. 27th St., Oak Creek, WI 53154 from 4:00 PM until time of the Funeral Service at 6:00 PM
Jim taught at Parkway Christian Academy, and with Racine Unified Schools at Gilmore and McKinley.

Thank you, Luciano, your comments and condolences are deeply appreciated. Jim truly was a special man with a lot of compassion and a great sense of humor.. We still laughed often about when his Teeth’ went flying off his lap….lots fun! I’m glad you remember him that way.

My heart is heavy Coach. You were dedicated coach on and off the court and a coach for sports and life. I have kept all of those standards working in my life. You are missed.
Our heartfelt sympathies to you Linda and your family. We enjoyed the times we spent with you and Jim in Bible Study at Lake Oaks Senior Apartments. We treasured every word he spoke to us about God, Jesus, and the Word of God. Though we mourn his Promotion to Glory, we celebrate his life and what he accomplished. We pray to the LORD for you and your family as you grieve. We pray God’s Holy Spirit will comfort and console you, and give you guidance and strength as you accept what the Lord has in store for you.
