I taught 4th grade for several months with Jackie at Milwaukee Spanish Immersion School. I loved her no nonsense attitude and sense of humor. When we would plan after school weekly, she would bring Belgian chocolates that she had brought back from her travels. We would eat amazing chocolate and sit and talk about life and our children and make each other laugh. I would ask her questions about France and I loved to listen to her. I will miss her bicycle and her jaunty hat that she wore. She was a pleasure to work with and I am sad that she is gone. I will think of her when I eat Belgian chocolate. 🙂 Julianna Perry

You were such an amazing woman! We didn’t talk or visit much, but I enjoyed seeing you again after many years. I would always read the post cards you sent before giving them to Amanda. Enjoy your many more travels, Rest in Paradise.
