I will forever be grateful that I met Horst over 30 years ago. He was in the same card group as I was in that started in Milwaukee at John and Tony’s house. The laughs we shared are memories I will never forget. Horst had such a dry sense of humor and every now and then he come up with a zinger that was normally targeted to Tony or Dennis. He would often talk about his family in such a loving way. He stood up for what was right and never wavered from his beliefs. Horst was a gentle giant who’s heart was as big as he was. I am sure you already have a card game going and we will always keep your chair open for you my friend.
