Gretchen “Sue” Therrian, age 83, of Oconomowoc, found peace on September 2, 2026, at her home.
Sue was born on May 12, 1943, in Medford, Wisconsin, to Harvey and Elsie Saltzman. She met Phillip Edward Therrian in 1967, and the couple was united in marriage on July 1, 1972.
Phil and Sue were proprietors of Hales Corners Heating and Air Conditioning from 1981 to 2001. Prior to this, Sue was employed by Allis Chalmers in West Allis, WI.
Sue leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Phillip; two children, Kevin (Fiancé Kelli Douville) Therrian and Scott (Jamie) Therrian; four grandchildren, Austin Therrian, Kellen Therrian, Delaney Ragsdale, and Hailey Ragsdale; and two siblings, Late Brother David (Nancy) Saltzman and Sister Rachael (Jim) Kaufman.
She is further survived by her brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Late Toby (Louis) Therrian, Late Kennith (Bernice) Therrian, Late Frank Therrian, Late Cliff (Janet) Therrian, Judy (Freddy) Breier, Dorthy (Ronald) Niemela, and Marge Wagner, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including extended family, Stefonich’s and Supanich’s.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home – New Berlin, 16880 W. National Ave., New Berlin, WI 53151. A Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Southern Wisconsin Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
Sorry for your loss, I remember staying with Sue and Philly a few years ago, beautiful home and Philly said we most be important Sue made us dinner with her delicious potato salad, RIP Sue
