Life on earth can be compared with that of a train with a starting point and an ending station. Giovanna has been a rider on this train sharing her smile, cooking skills, love of her family and friends and always a joy to be around. This train has had many more bumps than most trains but she has weathered them with a courage and the conviction of her faith better than many before her. She has now departed the train to reach her final goal and we all know that she will be rewarded for all her efforts. We will miss you dearly Gio.

I remember how happy you were when you found Giovanna. You told me she made you feel young. And you said at our age that wasn’t easy for anyone to make us feel young. Now you have to make yourself feel young. Hopefully your memories of the times you shared with Giovanna will help you do that.

Rest in peace beautiful Angel

I’m so glad and honored to have had the opportunity to meet and get to know you … you always had a smile on your face … with such a positive and Pleasant spirit and overall an amazing demeanor… I remember the day you taught me how to cook lemon chicken with diced potatoes out at your old house near Brady Street and to this day I still cook that meal in honor of you! May you rest in peace my dear Giovanna, you will greatly be missed and thank you for all you’ve done while you were here with us on earth… thank you for all the smiles, laughter and great memories you brought to everyone…. you were truly amazing and you still are angel. ❤

With Love,
Yessenia Seny Rodriguez
