Barker, Geraldine R.
(nee Kasprzyk), 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Born on May 29, 1924 to Joseph and Stella Kasprzyk.
She married Carl M. Barker in 1952 who preceded her in death in 1965. They were blessed with seven children who survive them: Daniel Barker, Fort Meyers, FL; Robert (Laura) Barker, Milwaukee; Mary Barker, Green Bay; Jean (Michael) Bachmann, Denmark; Roz Barker (Kim Poli), Green Bay; Joni Johnson, Twin Falls, ID; and Nancy Barker (Todd Kroscher), Two Rivers.
Also survived by grandchildren Carolyn, Richard, Jennifer, Lisa, Nicholas, Matthew, Katherine, Jay, Hanna, Tracy, Rachel, Alexandra, Kyle, Ellenore and Louise, and great-grandson, Cameron.
Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Gerrie proudly served in World War II at the U.S. Marine Corps Headquarters in Washington, DC and she is a retiree of Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District.
Visitation Wednesday, January 1st from 4 to 7 pm, at the Funeral Home, with Vigil at 6:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am on January 2nd at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3160 S 63rd St, Milwaukee, WI 53219. (Please meet at Church). Interment St. Adalbert cemetery.
