Dear Chris,

Jerry will be missed, but not forgotton. I have good memories of the two of you up north at Sandy Pines many summers in July as well New Year’s in Michigan. As a matter of fact, my first non-Detroit Tiger baseball game was with you and Jerry in Milwaukee!

We’re certainly glad we were able to spend time with him at our wedding in 2002.

Love,

Chris and Stephanie– We are so sad for you both, but rejoicing with you that Jerry is celebrating victory in Jesus in heaven today. We would never wish him back to this world of pain. We are sorry that we are unable to attend the funeral but our thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the months ahead.
Jerry was such a Christian and fun-loving family man. Tom enjoyed serving with him at church. We loved to play cards together, and who could ever forget the eventful day of putting in our fence holes here in Appleton! We love you so much and thank God that he has taken Jerry home!

Chris –

I remember fondly Jerry pitching batting practice and the shots he’d take up the middle! I learned a lot from him — both on and off the field.

The friendship you both shared with me will not be forgotten.

Take comfort in the fact Jerry is resting comfortably with his Heavenly Father and will always be with you.

I will keep you in my prayers.
