    “My Mother kept a garden.
    A garden of the heart;
    She planted all the good things,
    That gave my life it’s start.

    She turned me to the sunshine,
    And encouraged me to dream:
    Fostering and nurturing
    The seeds of self-esteem.

    And when the winds and rains came,
    She protected me enough;
    But not too much, she knew I’d need
    To stand up strong and tough.

    Her constant good example,
    Always taught me right from wrong;
    Markers for my pathway
    To last my whole life long.

    I am my Mother’s garden,
    I am her legacy.
    And I hope today she feels the love,
    Reflected back from me.” (author unknown)

    A Great Great Grandma
    Grandma
    Mother
    Wife
    Friend
    Sister
    Nurse
    Home maker
    Teacher
    Baker
    Cook
    Disciple of God
    Many more titles than I could ever imagine
    But my Grandma is awesome!
    She loved us so much.
    Spent hours praying for us.
    She taught us so much.
    Shared and left us many stories.
    She was the family stone who made things work when many people wouldn’t have been able to.
    She was the family religious mentor.
    She is at peace now above us.

    At our last family visit as my family was leaving she said to me; ” I love you. I will see you in Heaven.”
    I don’t doubt that she is waiting to see us again with our family
    Grandma you will be missed

    I remember as a child I always loved going to grandmas and grandpas. Our trips to McDonald’s for chicken nuggets and ice cream our long talks , grandma taken me to church with her on Sundays and teaching me how to play solitaire. My grandma was my best friend growing up and as adult I’m glad I had the pleasure of of being blessed to have my grandmother in my life and my child’s! She was the most gentle sole that always reminded me to stay humble happy and peaceful no matter what life throws at you . You will be missed so much and I know you will always have your arms wrapped around each and every one of us from heaven . Love you

    Michael,
    Ellen & I are very sorry about the loss of your Grandmother. It is so easy to see from your personal memories that you loved her very much and will be dearly missed. Grandma’s, we believe, are very special to their grandchildren. Through their lives, they have gained much wisdom to share with their grandchildren and provide unending love. Hang on to your fond memories of your Grandmother Mike. They are valuable.

    Grandma I miss you so much,I never will forget your laugh and smile that could brighten anyones day. You always taught me to stay positive and that you do not need material things to make you happy. I remember as a little girl you always told me you were a angel and had hidden wings. I love how I am alot like you love our woodland creatures and hearing about our native american heritage. I will cherish all the memories and always being welcomed and loved at your house. You taught me so much about Jesus and your love for god is amazing. When I look up to the sky I know you are watching over all of your family you are a inspiration ❤
