Georgia Rae Miller

Found peace May 10, 2025, age 82 years. Beloved wife of Dick for 64 years. Loving mother of Dawn (Jim Ziolkowski) Miller and Mark (Sandy) Miller. Cherished grandmother or Eddie York. Dear sister of Jeri Kenaston, Lynette (Howard) Pipkorn, the late Beverly (Jim) Reit. Fond cousin of Bobby Wiener. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends especially her dear friends at Foresthill Highlands.

Georgia was baptized, confirmed and married at St. James Ev. Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa. She and Dick lived in several places in the Milwaukee area before settling in Franklin in the early 1970’s. It was then that they began attending St. Paul’s Lutheran in Franklin.

Georgia was an avid crafter and was an accomplished painter. She enjoyed playing the slots as well. She cherished the time she spent with her grandson Eddie – especially the countless games of cards they played. Georgia enjoyed the time she and Dick spent at their place at Shady Oaks near Little Green Lake.

The family wish to thank Fresenius Kidney Care for the skilled and compassion care they provided Georgia over the last eight years and also to the staff at Zilber Family Hospice for the support and comfort they provided Georgia and the family in the last days of her life.

Georgia was my dearest best friend for over 50 years. She was my next door neighbor. So many memories. Too many to count. Sorry for your loss but she is with God now and will rest easy

Georgia was a dear friend who I met through Judy Wilson. I will truly miss my conversations with her, especially after I moved to Florida.

Georgia and Dick Miller were some of the special people we met @ St Paul’s. They were always involved with donating time for our church. Pete and Dick played together for some services, Pete sang, Dick sang and played instruments. Georgia always had a smile on her face. Our condolences to her family and loved ones. ,She is now in the arms of her Savior, Jesus.
