George “Corky” Kortendick

Kortendick, George Jr. “Corky” of the Town of Raymond. Corky was born in Waterford, on December 20, 1926, the son of George and Louise (nee Kaiser) Kortendick. Born to Eternal Life on Monday, November 10, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Beloved Husband of the late Marilyn (nee Barth). Dear Father of Greg (Lynn), the late Michael, Mary Kay (Steve) Runge, Randy (Leanne), Rick (Tammi) Kortendick. Loving Grandfather of Miranda, Jessica, Katie, Matthew, Kevin, Kody, Coralee and Carlin. Great-Grandfather of Chloe, Emma, Elly and Dylan. Brother of Gerald “Mickey” (Jackie) and the late Jerry (Shirley) Kortendick. Stepfather of James (Laurel), Jerry (Chris), John, Janis and Julie (Rick). Also survived by many loved step-grand and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at NORTH CAPE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2644 124th St. (Hwy 45 and W. Five Mile Rd.) from 9:30AM until the time of service at 11AM. Interment to follow at St. Louis Church Cemetery.
Corky was proud to have served in the U.S. Army in Korea, was a Member of the American Legion Post 494 and a member of North Cape Lutheran Church.
