Found peace on January 5, 2026, age 86, born June 9, 1939 in Aberdeen, SD. Cherished mother to Craig (Gretchen Kollman), Brad and Tracey (Robin Bell) Glaser and beloved Gigi to all who considered her family. Further survived by her dear brother, William W. Ray; niece Jenny (Jon) Lindquist, and nephew, Stephen Ray. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Donald Glaser and her parents, William V. and Joyce (nee Weaver) Ray.

Gayle lived a full and wonderful life.  She believed in many virtues needed in today’s world, including honesty, dedication, sacrifice, hard work, and family. She was always friendly to others and compassionate to those in need. In her personal life, she enjoyed camping with her husband Don in their RV and loved visiting and exploring the small towns and shops wherever they went.  Known as ‘Grandma Gail, or Gigi’ to many children and grandchildren of her close friends, she freely gave her time and love.

Ever supportive of her children she was the best mom one could ask for.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 1 pm – 2:30 pm at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME (3801 S. Howell Ave.) with a memorial service to follow at 2:30 pm.
