Gail Angela McMurry

Gail Angela McMurry (Zanola) of Caledonia, was called home on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at the age of 56 years.

Beloved wife and best friend of William Patrick (Pat) McMurry for 37 years.

Sister of Robert (Susan) Zanola, Terri (Randy) Mickelson, and David Zanola (deceased). Further survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Grew up in St. Francis. Graduated from St Francis High School class of 1987

She loved church bible studies, game nights, arts & crafts, yellow flowers, animals, bird watching and working with children. She was employed as a primary school teacher. Most recently at Jubilee Christian Family Church in Franklin. Gail will be greatly missed by everyone and her favorite cat Meme.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. Gail was sassy, silly, caring, fun-loving and always enjoyed a good party with friends and family. Our greatest memories with Auntie Gail are holiday get togethers, her laugh and all of our birthday celebrations at our favorite Mexican and Hibachi restaurants.

Private burial at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove.
