Passed away unexpectedly Dec. 5, 2022 at the age of 74. Survived by sister Becky (Rebecca) . Preceded in death by father Fred Thorpe and mother Alice Thorpe Klappa (ne Kuehn). Frederick was fondly known by relatives as “Rick” and to other friends as “Fred”. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 18 and worked tirelessly and selflessly to help other veterans and their families.
