I echo the thoughts of Bob Gleason. I grew up next door to the Sagan’s. I remember Frank in his bib overalls, always doing something in the yard. Weather it be on his industrial sized lawn mower or in his garden. He was always eager to help. I can’t tell you how many times he cut our grass or plowed our driveway. He was so happy putzing around the yard. He was always welcoming and had a kind word. I can’t forget the monthly sheepshead games and the new years eve round robins that my parents looked forward to. I was so fortunate to have grown up with such great influences. Our condolences to the Sagan family.

I grew up 2 doors down from the Sagan family. We had a great neighborhood. It was common to hear Frank whistling a tune throughout our neighborhood. He had a unique and wonderful laugh and a great sense of humor. I remember a story he told about trapping a squirrel that was raiding his bird feeder. He caught it, spray painted it’s tail orange, and let him go down the road in the back acres of his daughter Barb’s property. The squirrel was back in Frank’s yard within a couple of hours. He was a great guy and helped make our neighborhood an awesome one to grow up in. Deepest sympathies to Franks family. It’s comforting to know that he will be reunited with June, Lenny and Eddy along with his siblings that have gone before him.
