Jeff & I were saddened to hear of Frank’s passing. He was my cousin my Dad was Frank’s dad’s brother Edmund. Frank was a valuable source of information about the Popa family. Every time we had a family gathering, I could always rely on Frank to teach me something new about the Popa’s. We will miss that knowledge.

Frank & Irene were our neighbors at Armour Court. We enjoyed summer evenings sitting on the patio and visiting with Frank, he had so many stories to share and had a way of making them fascinating to listen to. From the short time we knew him we know he was a kindhearted soul, was always there to help even when his sight was failing. Our prayers go out to Irene and the entire family.

Our sympathies to you Irene, Frank Jr, Paul and all. Frank was a font of family history who will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

Our condolances to Irene and the greater Popa family from cousin Adrian. I believe that I met Frank at his father’s memorial service here in California. I did not know that Frank was an electrician like my father Dan Popa was for 40+ years.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Irene and all Frank and Irene’s family.
Rosemary is Ed Popa’s daughter, Frank’s cousin.
One fun time we remember was when we saw Frank and Irene at Ed and Naomi’s 50th wedding anniversary party — remember “Goodnight Irene”? We have many fond memories of that occasion and others.

Our love and prayers to you and your family, Irene. We will always remember Frank as an outgoing, upbeat person who loved everything family. Your visits with mom and dad Naomi and Ed meant so much to them. Another example of how you made family important. Heaven is now echoing with his storytelling and sense of humor.
