Died unexpectedly June 1, 2010 age 63 while working in his yard completing his “to do list”. Loving husband of Sue Ann nee Schaefer. Brother of Virginia “Ginny” Splinter. Brother-in-law of Mary Jane Allen Bochat, Joseph Cindy Schaefer, Margaret Richard Datka, the late John Schaefer, Fran Clemens, James Schaefer, Jerry Janet Schaefer, and Kathleen Ted Multhauf. Preceded in death by parents Frank and Rosalie nee Hartl Splinter, mother and father-in-law Joseph and Margaret nee Beres Schaefer and nephew Joey Multhauf. Further survived by 17 nieces and nephews, 14 great-nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Visitation Friday June 4 at the funeral home from 4-7:30PM with a prayer vigil at 7:30PM, and on Saturday June 5 at ST. LOUIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 13207 County Rd G, from 10-11AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM.
Frank was an employee of Miller-Coors for 28 years and former President of family owned Splinter Pickle Company.

    rip frank splinter i was just wondering why his massive farm was left abandoned after his death.
