Saturday, April 30th, 2016, age 87. Beloved husband of Lucy “Sweetie Pie”. Loving dad of Jan (the late Chuck) Peterson, Judy (Charlie) Owens, Joni (Scott Haines) Kostecki, Mary Jo (Jeff) Welnak, Mark (Renee) Smerlinski, and Marlene (Robert) Fieldbinder. Grandpa of Kris (Don), Andrea (Brian), Frank (Alicia), Shelly, Angie (Ryan), Dave (Chelsea), Brian (Felicia), Kelly (Joe), Denise (Luis), Bethany (Dennis), Becki (Matt), Lauren (Kurt), Danielle (Jonah), Ryan, Ross, and Alie. Great-grandpa of Nick, Brad, Jenna, Kristina, Stefany, Gwen, Connor, Dani, Angelica, Aura, Ability, Seek, Nik, Nathan, Madison, Lucy, Frankie, Kaden, and Korbin. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place at the FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, May 5th, from 4-7:30pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, May 6th, at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH,3100 S. 41st St., from 9-10am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Interment Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery.
