Felicia
Mirzejewski

Mirzejewski, Felicia Nee – Selin
Peacefully passed away on Monday, July 7, 2008, surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. She was 85 years young. Preceded in death by her loving husband Julian Bud. Theirs was a love affair that lasted 59 years on earth; yet, will endure for eternity in heaven.

Loved and cherished by her five daughters, Julie-Anne Jim Mikolajek, Cris Selin, Terri Bill Michels, Marybeth Dan Gruenewald, and Michele Felice Robert Bohlmann. Treasured Grandma of David Mikolajek, JJ Lisa O’Farrell, Michael Tracy Baumann, Greg Alisa Baumann, Dan Jennifer Baumann, Brian Mikolajek, Aimee Daniel Jorjani, Maxwell and Halena Bohlmann. Fond Great-Grandma to Allison, Maya, Kayla, Madeline, Aidan, Zachary, Nickolas, Alex and Olivia.

Preceded in death by her parents, John and Pauline Selin. Dearest sister to the late Alfons Jayne Selin, the late Celia Dumbeck and the late Elizabeth Znidorka. Special sister-in- law of the late Harriet Wolf. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Felicia always stated her vocation in life was to raise her five daughters. She truly enjoyed her career and took pride in all of her daughters’ accomplishments. Felicia loved her daughters unconditionally, gentle yet strong, tireless and devoted, always ready with kisses and hugs. She comforted them when they hurt; she taught them grace and patience. She enjoyed spending time with her husband Bud by bowling in several senior couples leagues. When Bud’s health no longer allowed him to bowl, he became her unofficial “coach” and gave her pointers when she bowled in several ladies Coffee Klatch leagues.

She enjoyed Bingo, would never turn down a game of “Grandma’s Rummy”, was happy taking casino bus trips with her Bud, and loved all the family vacations especially those in Door County.

Her daughters and other family members will receive relatives and friends at ST. VERONICA CHURCH, 4001 S. Whitnall Ave. Milwaukee on Friday July 11th from 3PM until the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 PM. Private Interment at Holy Apostles Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Felicia’s name to the Zilber Family Hospice, 1155 Honey Creek Parkway, Wauwatosa, WI 53213

Dear Mirzejewski family, my deepest sympathy at the loss of your mother, may she rest in peace.

Elaine Masarik-Williams

Marybeth, Julie, Chris, Terri, and Michele, At this time of loss, may you nurture yourselves and draw upon the many wonderful strengths that each of you have developed because of and in spite! of your truely amazing mom. As the neighbor girl ‘up the block’ I remember fondly Mrs. Mirzejewski’s knack for making her opinions known while keeping that twinkle in her eye.
You are all in my healing thoughts. Love, Elaine

Marybeth & Michelle,
It was my honor and pleasure to have known your mother… and father. In this day and age, their longterm relationship shows that generations before us had a better understanding of committment and the importance of family. They proved that by raising a brood of girls that will carry on their legacy. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time.

The MacDougalls

You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Grandma,
There’s no doubt we already miss you and your clever humor, but the assurance of you being eternally w/ grandpa now can only brighten things up more. I love you.

Great Aunt Felicia;
I’m so greatful to have seen you last summer at Mom’s house. You will be missed down here, but you’ll be in good company “upstairs.” Give a kiss to Grandma Ceil for me.

Linda
