The night before he died, I had a dream. There was a place with a path that was pure white like cotton. There were beautiful beings wearing radiant gowns coming back and forth, they almost looked like they were floating. They came near me and hugged me. I told Tino, come on, come over here. He came over and we all hugged but it was not a typical “how you doing” hug, it was different, it was a different kind of special. When I woke up, I got the news that my brother had passed away.

O Gentless Heart of Jesus, ever present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in Purgatory, have mercy on the soul of Thy departed servant Faustino. Be not severe in Thy judgment but let some drops of Thy Pecious Blood fall upon the devouring flames, and do Thou O merciful Savior send Thy angels to conduct Thy departed servant Faustino to a place of refreshment, light and peace. Amen.

Signs are everywhere when you least expect them. Messages come in all forms. Case in point.
I last saw Tio Tino on Nov 4. At 7:30 Nov 5. I found out that he had moved on. On my drive in to work as I was thinking about Tio, I heard a song that kept repeating the same words over and over. “I’m free”, “no more crying”, “it’s over”, “I can dance”, “I made it”. that made me feel good. On my way home that same day I saw a sign that simply said “Finally a sign from God!” All simple but very direct messages/signs. Today, I open up this site and there is Tio Tino with his machete and that smile on his face. Love that about the Reyes men, they all have the sneaky smile that just makes you want to smile. RIP Tio Tino. Dios te bendiga
