Eugene “Gino” Crossot passed away peacefully on Friday, March 12, 2021 at the age of 93. Preceded in death by Mary Ann, his beloved wife of 60 years. Loving brother-in-law of Ellie Heller and Phyllis Ginstling. Preceded in death by loving sister Shirley. Proud father of Elaine, Michael and Carrie, Andrea and Frank, and Steven and Lisa. Loving grandfather of Jonathan and April, Genevieve and Amir, Madeleine and Sean, Caleb, Julia, Camille, Sadie, and Nathan, and great grandfather of Meredith and Adam. Also survived by many adoring cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Gino briefly served in the military at the close of the second world war and was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin School of Law and practiced law well into his 70s.

His many passions included tennis, travel, bridge, Scrabble, and college and professional sports. He was particularly fond of show tunes, old standards, and ice cream. He cherished his times with family and friends.

Private family graveside ceremony will be held Sunday, March 14th.

Gino’s family is grateful for the compassionate care he received from the Chai Point nursing staff and the staff on 6 West at Columbia St. Mary’s, and to Dr. Kaye Baugrud for her unending support, kindness, and compassion. Donations to the Sixteenth Street Community Health Center appreciated.
