Dear Stephanie – Yesterday I read the e-mail notice from Shannon M (organizer for the Irish Choir) re your Father’s passing. ( a few of us from MSC sing in the Sunday liturgy). I always looked forward to seeing Gene every year and we would talk about a lot of things. We have a common friend at Cameo and Gene would let me know how she was doing. She also sang with MSC years ago. I had no idea that Gene was your father, so I am sorry not to send my condolences before. I will miss him. God strength and love. Mary Anne Stephens

My sympathy to your family. I never had the honor of meeting Gene but trust that you will truly miss him. May he rest peacefully in God’s arms.

Wonderful voice when singing in choir and to the Blessed Savior. He will be remembered with hugs and prayers for you and all of the family.

This is the second time in my life I have seen an obituary for Eugene Weak. The first was my Dad, in 1972, and this one, my dad’s grandson, my nephew. Both were outstanding examples of Good Men. Not many can follow in their shoes. Gene, I wish you Joy and Happiness as you join my Dad and other family on your Journey. God bless your children and their families and give them strength to follow in your path.

Your “Aunt” Sandy Weak Linton
