A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow. – William Shakespeare

I worked with Polly for 16 years and the first memory I have is at the old building. She would come up to the 3rd floor to run a machine that was moved from the parts department. I started to talk to her and ask questions about the machine and she was so polite. I liked her personality right away. When we moved to the new building she became our planner. I would go to her with issues, problems, anything we needed to get production done. I knew I could count on her because she was sharp, smart, and knew her stuff. I was saddened when she was moved back to production her skills were needed on the floor. Once again I knew the person I could go to, if I needed a part she got it for me. If I had a question she answered it. If I needed a laugh she fulfilled it. We would talk about everyday stuff. How happy she was to get the car starter put in so she wouldn’t have to go into a cold car. Going up north to the casino’s, she would always tell me how much she won!! We talked about the truck, the dogs, her daughter…….many many stories. When she got the Packer tickets from work, she came over to me and said ” I won”!! She was so happy!! Polly was my friend and one of the best workers I will ever know. I really will miss her!! May strength and comfort be with all of you!! Polly was a wonderful person and I am glad she was my friend. All of us at Lakeside will miss her, and we will never forget her!! Thank you Polly for being you!!!

RIP MOM: 10/8/1955-5/2/2014…You gracefully fought an impossible battle for two years with cancer and still managed to beat statistics and the doctor timelines. You are finally at peace and out of pain.I’m so happy I was able to comfort you and hold your hand as you took your last breath. My mother was an amazing woman. She embodied all of the attributes of a perfect mom. She was caring, thoughtful, hardworking, compassionate, loving, gentle, selfless, and so much more. It is so difficult to think of all of the words that described my mother as a person and how much she meant to me. My mother was my idol and I looked up to her all of my life. She was my rock, inspiration, bestfriend, and security..She was my everything! She was a strong woman who taught me a lot. The most important lessons were not verbal; they were in her actions. She always worked hard, never complained, was kind to others, showed me how to love, taught me never to take crap from others, never cared what others thought of her, was there when I needed her, and gave me her witty and sarcastic sense of humor. She was my mother, but also my bestfriend. You gave me so many opportunities in life that you never had and I thank you for everthing. I promise to forever work to make you proud and strive to be a fraction of the woman you were. I just pray I can be the kind of mother, wife, and friend you were to me,dad and many others. So many people have reached out and loved and respected you very much mom..All the well wishes, flowers, sweets, cards, and phone calls have all been so heart warming..I hope you know how much you were loved and respected..Dont worry about dad and grandman, I will take care of them for you I promise..Also I know how important it was for you to see me graduate from nursinging school, dont worry you will be there applauding me as I walk across Alverno’s stage in December and you will have the best seat in the room.. And most importantly, I know you will still be standing next to me in September for my wedding…It will be so much prettier from up there. You will always be with me. I will miss you every day for as long as I live. I love you forever and ever!
