Oct. 24, 2014. Age 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Lillian (nee Barczewski). Cherished father of Mary Elizabeth (Kevin) Petsch-Horvath and the late Christine Petsch. Loving grandfather of Tristan and Lillianna. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation Wed. Oct. 29, 2014 from 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Three Holy Women Parish – St. Hedwig Church, 1704 N. Humboldt Ave. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for the establishment of an educational scholarship in Ernie’s memory at South African Education and Environment Project (SAEP), where granddaughter, Lillianna works.
