(Formerly Budziszewski) Born to eternal life September 9, 2014, age 91. Preceded in death by parents Albert Budziszewski and Johanna (nee Budzinski). Beloved husband of the late Audrey (nee Polzin). Dear father of Mary (Elroy) Milan, Anne Bartell, and Allen (Jill) Bartell. Loving grandfather of Mark (Jeanne) Milan, Brandon Bartell and Merissa (Dr. Jeffrey) Lauzon. Loving great grandfather of Chad and Morgan Milan. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Saturday, September 20, 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Alphonsus Church, 6060 W. Loomis Rd., with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Entombment Mt. Olivet.
It was at Harmony of Franklin that Ernie met Harriet Novak and became companions. They pledged their love and committed themselves to each other on September 14, 2013.
Ernie was a skilled motor machinist in the US Navy in the pacific theater durring WWII. Retired employee of WE Energies. A muscian for over 60 years, and taught at the Lincoln House of Music. Member of the Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame receiving the Sideman of the Year award. Proud member of Barbara and the Karousels band. Special thank you to the staff at Harmony in Franklin.
