Emil “Lardy” Miller

Born to Eternal Life January 12, 2021, age 76 years. Beloved husband of Mary. Cherished father of Andrea (Gary) Rogutich, Michael (Jennifer), Mark (Elizabeth), and Jason (Liz) Miller. Loving step-father of Angela Wery and Scott (Nou) Ochs. Proud grandfather of JJ, Dan (Kelly), Maria, Tyler, Trey, Elissa (Dalton), Matthew, Gypsy, Raegan, Jaren, Zach (Monica), Whittney (Dustin), Cortney (Nick), Ryan, and Taylor. Fond great-grandfather of Rory, Bentley, Jaydn, Zoye, Rylee, Baylee, Dakota, Nathaniel, Madison, Nevaeh, Tripp and Micah. Dear brother of Michael “Mickey” (Gerri) Miller, Frances “Sis” (Glen) Wehner, Joan (Rick) Barrett, and Mary Ann Wisniewski. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Emil and Agnes (nee Chudada) Miller and a sister Pearl (the late Michael) Herkowski.

Emil was honored to be a US Army combat veteran, proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War, he was a former Whitefish Bay police officer, and worked for the U.S. Postal Service for over 30 years. He was a huge sports fan and played softball with various leagues throughout the years.

Visitation Fri., Jan. 22, 2021 at the Suminski / Weiss Funeral Home, 1901 N. Farwell Ave. from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Three Holy Women Parish – St. Hedwig Church, 1702 N. Humboldt Ave. at 12:00 Noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Fisher House Wisconsin, PO Box13768, Milwaukee, WI 53226 are appreciated.
