Ellen entered her heavenly home in the arms of Jesus on 8/2/2021 at the age of 70. She is survived by her husband, Thomas of 47 years. Loving mother of Gregory (Sara), and Andrew. Adoring grandmother of Nolan and Avery Spitzer. Further survived by Marlene Horn (David), Stanley Voss, Patti Mikez (John), and many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Eleanore Willmert, and her sister Karen Voss. A celebration of Ellen’s life will be held at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 6881 S. 51st. St., Franklin, WI. on Saturday August 14th. Visitation 10-11 am, service to follow. Because of the resurgence of covid-19, and out of consideration of others, face coverings are suggested. Ellen will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church.

When Patti and I were in high school and I would come over to hang out with Patti, Ellen was always joking around with us. I remember her as always laughing. Having spent time with my stepmom who had dementia I can say with certainty that Ellen is once again laughing and in a happy place
