I am so saddened to learn about Dr. Erdelt’s passing. I will remember Kurt as a compassionate doctor. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.
I worked with Kurt as a fellow resident. He was strong-willed, stoic, very intelligent, and an absolute inspiration. I am deeply saddened by his loss. But I will keep him in my memory: Kurt always pushed himself to overcome tough obstacles. It was an honor to know him and work with him.
He was an inspirational, thoughtful, and caring individual and will be greatly missed.

I’ll remember working with you on inpatient Medicine Wards Kurt. You were a true example of bravery, persistence and detication. You will be missed!
Dr. Erdelt had several months of rounds in my unit, the cardiac critical care while he was here at St. Vincent’s Hospital. He was always very cordial and a pleasure to work with. He will be truly missed. God Bless all of you during this trying time.

To Kurt’s family and friends,
I was sad to hear of Kurt’s passing. He was a kind, caring doctor, always willing to answer questions and a very sweet soul. Once during his time in Critical Care, when a situation was rough, he gave his little smile and took a thoughtful pause-that was just what was needed at the time, to take a breath and helped us to keep going.
