Horn, Dorothy “Dotty” (Nee Grafenauer)
Age 91 of Muskego, was reunited with her loving husband Dick in heaven on November 18th, 2016. Dotty was born on November 27, 1924 to Mary (Nee Kuss) and Michael Grafenauer. Cherished Mother of Patricia (Jerald) Hulbert, William (Denise) and Robert (Joan). Proud “Gommy” of Laurie (Theodore) Valenti, Jason (Jennifer) Hulbert, Jonathan (Priscila) Hulbert, Brian (Laura) Horn, Daniel (Jamie) Horn, Kurt Horn, Shannon (Paul) Robinson, Kent (Bianca)Horn, Kelly Horn. Special “Great-Gommy” of Taylor, Morgan, Easton, Danica, Lucy, Sydney, Jax, Bradyn, Mason, Chase, Benjamin, Joseph, Breann, Rebecca, Johanna. “Aunt Dot” will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Dotty graduated from West Milwaukee High School and married her high school sweetheart, Dick Horn, on July 6, 1946. They were lifetime residents of Muskego and worked at the family business, Horn Brothers. Dotty loved to engage in conversation with everyone, whether it be leaving church on Sunday morning or behind the seed counter at Horn Brothers sharing her gardening tips. She enjoyed singing in the St. Paul’s Mixed Choir, bowling on Thursday mornings, and baking her favorite treats for family and friends. She was also an avid sports fan; always rooting for the home team be it Bucks, Brewers, Packers, Muskego Warriors, WI. Lutheran, or the St. Paul’s Eagles. Her grandchildren, and eventually great-grandchildren, enjoyed fun filled sleepovers, playing King in the Corner, being awaken by the song “Good Morning to You”, and eating egg in a hole for breakfast. Each Christmas Eve family enjoyed singing Silent Night while putting baby Jesus in the manger, getting new PJs, playing hoops in the hall, singing Johnny Cash songs, eating homemade Christmas cookies and Rupena’s sausages till the wee hours of the morn. Dotty will always be remembered for her bright smile, “gift of gab”, and unconditional love of family.
